how did you even get one of the games to boot? Or did you manipulate the iso?
It's just a spammer...

The new feature though is the wiimote control for MP1 & 2

Ah, hehe. Well I guess you maybe can emulate it by using GlovePIE or something for the emu but if you play the game on your Wii I get it.
@ skid: Any news on this? I thought you were close when you made the Zelda Collection work, but it's a whole different issue, huh? (also there doesn't even seem to be an issue about this in particular in the issue tracker...?)
Yeh, it's a whole different issue to the GameCube multi-booting stuff.

I think this game will be fixed when disc channel launching works reliably. As far as I can tell, the current problem with disc channel launching is timing related. It works for me if I add various delays into the code. It is not easy to fix properly, and not much fun so I am shelving this issue for the time being. There is no need to raise an issue about it because we all know it is an issue already.
aye, thanks for the update Smile
Hm, I guess it wouldnt be possible to add those delays as an option in the game properties (like watermark e.g.) until it can be figured out right?
Oh, and if it does work for you, do the single metroid games still need LLE plugin like they do when using the workaround putting a single .dol file into the iso (if you know what I mean)?

Believe it or not, the standalone versions of the game do NOT need the LLE plugin. The sound effects and music actually work in HLE just fine, which is kind of bizarre. The only downside, of course, is that MP1 and MP2 were only released as standalone for the GC, so that means you cannot use a Wiimote.
@ Ashok: Yeah, I know the games themselves (1&2 on GC, 3 on Wii) don't need the LLE plugin...
But if you look earlier in this thread there's a tutorial to kinda split the Metroid Trilogy iso into three and you can then play one of the three games...however, if you do that, you need the LLE plugin for it to work.
Now what I wanted to know is if the LLE plugin is also required when the games are started normally from the full Metroid Trilogy iso...dunno if I can make myself understood here ^^

I don't think the Metroid Prime Trilogy dol issue has anything to do with the sound. Even if the game could boot normally, you would still need LLE.
Is it possible to play this game with an emulated wiimote, cause I know they're some parts of the game that you need to pull the wiimote to grab some objects, etc or is it better to just play it on the wii ? Thanks in advance guys !
