Hey Matoking,
Are you sure you got the scanner working in Metroid Prime 2 using DirectX?
All of the latest revs and builds for me still have a non-functioning scanner with DirectX. Sure, the objects appear as they should, but at least for me they are still unscannable when you push the button to scan the item in.
I should also add that I am aware of the need to set EFB copy to RAM. Still no difference..
Hey matoking can you explain the dol replacement? I tried doing it a bunch of times but all I got was launching the main menu.

Ok, will post a tutorial soon-ish enough I guess.

Did you also enable EFB>CPU access? They should be colored blue or red in Scan Visor.
Yes, I tried both Direct3D9 and OpenGL plugins.
EDIT :
Tried it, you need to have both EFB>CPU access and EFB copy to RAM enabled in order to use Scan Visor.
If you have EFB copy to RAM enabled but not EFB>CPU access, the screen "twitches" when you try to scan anything.
How to swap .dol files in the ISO image using Wiiscrubber
1. Make a backup copy of your ISO image, just so you won't end up with a non-working ISO image.
2. Download Wiiscrubber here :
http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=2700
3. Extract it somewhere. You probably have to run MakeKeyBin.exe first. Do so.
4. After this run Wiiscrubber.exe
5. Load the ISO image.
6. It should show 3 different partitions. Expand the DATA partition.
7. There should be 4 .dol files in the root we are going to need. Extract them somewhere safe. (they are main.dol, rs5mp1_p.dol, rs5mp2_p.dol and rs5mp3_p.dol)
![[Image: wiiscrubberextract.png]](http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/7376/wiiscrubberextract.png)
8. After you have extracted the .dol files, right-click "main.dol" file and select Replace. Replace it with rs5mpX_p.dol file of your choice depending on the game you want to play.

9. After it is done replacing the file, close Wiiscrubber and try starting the modified ISO with Dolphin. Instead of the warning screen about Wiimote usage it should boot directly in to the game. (Metroid Prime 3 doesn't seem to work at the moment though)
Saving SHOULD work, when you start the game it should load the previous game if you have saved.
I've always enabled EFB>CPU access (and Safe Texture Cache and EFB to RAM ) and the blue and red objects do appear but they are still unscannable with DirectX, at least for me.
hmm i tried those settings but i cant get past the loading screen , tried with 4713,4780,4797 none of them get past the loading screen
hmmm...trying Metroid Prime, but there's an error message:
DSPHLE: Unknown ucode (CRC = 3389a79e) - forcing AXWii. Try LLE plugin if this is homebrew.
*shrug*...it works with LLE plugin but it's unplayable slow of course...
