To modify the iso i use Wiiscrubber 1.40

And no When I start my unmodified version it doesn't work.
Confirming: no sound due to unknown ucode:

Performance is very bad (T9600):

So even if this was working on Dolphin I would still have to go back and play the GameCube version.

Yeah, I ripped it last night and discovered that the main menu works. But it won't boot any of the games, after you select the game, it just black screens. So I replaced the main.dol with MP2's dol, which worked, but it was awful... there IS sound in the cutscenes, but not ingame. And performance is poor at best. Needless to say, I'll be playing this on the real Wii for now Wink
lol well mp1 sound is pretty good...culd you try replacing it with the mp1 file for sound or whatever you did...lol sorry kinda techinical stuffs tht i dont understand 100%...lol Tongue
just backed up the iso of metroid trilogy PAL (dual disk iso takes ages) and got it running, havent gone ingame yet but showing a few pics at the intro vid. will post more info if i remember and am still awake

Edit: Audio works fine, LOVE the music Smile (although i do notice slight crackling but its very small, almost unnoticeable)
Video is still a problem, single colours at a time and low frame rate (bad frame rate because im on my laptop)
any text is messed up on the menu but still works fine, although it doesnt seem to go any further than the menu. i cant go into playing the game, just has a black screen and ends there

As was mentioned, dolphin does not support multi-dol discs yet. This game disc is one of those. It has the main menu dol, and then it does a type of soft-reset and calls one of the 3 game dols. You have to use a program like wii scrubber to manually extract the dol files from the disc and then overwrite the main.dol in the iso with one of the dol files to boot to one of the 3 games. This way when you boot the iso, the main.dol file is actuall one of the game dol's and it knows where to go on the disc to start the game.

I'm too lazy to look for where I found the info on it.
Hm... can't be separate out the Metroid 1 and 2 from the Trilogy ISO some way? (To be each one a stand alone ISO).

Please don't hurt me if this sound stupid, just an idea, I know nothing about this things. >.<
You can replace the main dol with one of the game dols, so you could probably delete the other 2 games somehow and compress to gcz. Do it for all 3 games, get some custom banner.bin for each, and voíla. (Not sure what program can erase files from the isos, just saying the functionallity sounds easy too make)
Can someone post instructions for wiiscruber dol replacement?
