The resolution settings don't do much of anything. If I set it higher than 2.5x, then the framerate gets even worse, but even with everything at the lowest possible settings I'm not getting more than ~8fps.
What does the hashless branch do? Is there a place somewhere I can go to see an explanation of what the various branches are for? Some of them don't have very descriptive names.
EDIT: I tried it with the hashless branch, and if anything, it was worse. The framerate wasn't any better, and the graphics were all fubar.

My cpu is already overclocked.
And here are my settings.

To boot ; change the games you have to swap the .dol on the iso. Guide on this page:

How about a link? Or, even better, how about a description of the branches used to compile it?
I'm having a problem with the Trilogy version of MP2, when I get to this cutscene:

It freezes on the ending static. I got past it once before but forgot to save, now it won't work. Wondering if anyone has had this/knows what it might be. I can post settings if that will help but don't really want to if it's a common problem with a quick fix.

I found that build, and it's not any better for me. It only supports the MS stack, and I have to use the Toshiba stack with my BT dongle.
It has basically the same speed as the current version. It does seem to be a bit faster with EFB->Texture, but I'm still only getting 9fps with EFB->RAM, so there's no improvement where it matters.
tldr: Not worth the effort to get that version.
Hey all,
I've been playing Metroid Prime Trilogy on Dolphin 3.0 and am having a strange glitch. Most of the screen renders in the native resolution (1080p) of my monitor, but the upper left quadrant still renders in the base resolution (640x528). So far, this happens in cutscenes, when in morph ball, and when using the combat visor, but goes away when using the scan visor. It doesn't kill the game, but it certainly is distracting and takes away from the visual improvement Dolphin offers GC and Wii games since one quarter of the screen is low res.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Any advice on settings to fix this?
Thanks!

What's your EFB copy setting? I haven't experienced your exact problem, but what your describing sounds a lot like what happens when you have EFB copies disabled.

Try to uncheck Ignore Format Changes
Thanks for the responses. I have EFB copies set to RAM.
I tried unchecking Ignore Format Changes, to no avail.
It's strange. I noticed that the visor and HUD are still sharp and in 1080p, but the 3d objects rendered outside of the visor are lower resolution in that part of the screen.
Is this game playable with the current revisions? or is it still in progress
