Use the build in the link above your post, then you don't have to switch dols.
I'm using Skidau's test build on top of 3.0-204...I think.
selecting the game works perfectly, no more freezing, glad I don't need to mess around with the ISO.
But aside from the delayed sounds in the intro, I can't get my FPS up past about 20. It kind of jags occasionally and then the whole game moves real slow when it finally starts. (also, not quite a big issue: the load state feature crashes Dolphin).
anyone know anything I can try that I haven't already? I'm wondering if maybe there's something I should do to my GPU or CPU directly...
I have Windows 7 Home 64bit
Core i7 Q740
NVIDIA GT435M
8GB DDR3 RAM
it's pretty obvious, but it's a laptop. Assume it should be more than enough to run Wii games, but can't get this one to work right!
It is running decently on the lowest native resolution but I was hoping to get this to work in HD.
Know it's an old thread, but I hope someone can help. Bastinado mentioned he got it working with 50 FPS. what were your settings?
Thanks!
Try to set anisotropic filtering x4 in a video configuration. I have game running faster. I have 50+ fps in the intro and 30-60 in the game. Earlier it was 30-40 fps in the intro 20-30 fps in the game.
On previous post my config in the video from 0:34-0:46 sec.
UPD: I was wrong

thanks for replying Foxcor. I previously had it at 8x, but lowering it to 4x didn't really do much. the only thing that seems to help is lowering the native resolution. is there any way to balance out a higher native resolution and higher FPS?
Try this config for the game

for the Graphics
Thanks, that sped up the emulation back to always around 100%. The FPS was perfect for the main menu at the start, decent in the opening movie around 30fps, but when the gameplay started it stayed around 20 - 25fps. still a little sluggish...
Btw, I keep my fullscreen resolution at 1920x1080 despite your settings since that matches my monitor, but I don't think that has any effect, does it?
I also feel I don't need more than 3X Native and have been using that setting or lower, if it makes any difference. Lower usually means better fps but as you know and as I've mentioned, trying to go for best possible resolution.
Everything else I made just as you indicated in your images. Unfortunately, having the Texture Cache all the way to Fast makes the txt in the game garbled. I have to keep it at the default. Should I try moving it more towards Safe like you had in your youtube video?
Also, every time I set EFB Copies to RAM, the color messes up terribly. Checking off "Enable Cache" helps a little, but what I get is some flickering between messed up colors and perfect colors all throughout. Do I really need this on RAM to be able to scan?
Thanks a lot for all your help! I'll keep working on my end, too.
