Right now the best I have been able to get is using

Direct3D9
1680x1050 (Force 16:9, Fullscreen)
Internal 1x Native (640x528)
9x SSAA
16x Filtering
EFB to RAM and Virtual
OpenMP Texture Decoder
Dual Core
Idle Skipping
JIT Recomp
DSP LLE Recomp
DSP LLE on Thread (On & Off, no change)
XAudio2

I haven't used Dolphin in a good while, so some of these options are confusing to me. Any suggestions would be awesome! I tried using Direct3D11 and the game crashed right at the start, OpenGL had issues with displaying the words in the game, like on the scanner and whatnot. I didn't change much when I was using OpenGL, so if there are particular settings to get it to work I will try them out.
9xSSAA seems overkill, is it really stable for that? Try multiple window 640x528 instead of native and kill the AA, should help with some of the jaggies and less strain on your GPU. I assume you're playing Metroid Prime 3 because the the other two should run without issues as long as you have EGB to RAM so you can scan items.

The rest seems fine. Lately I was trying disabling fog and that alpha destination thing, I think they gave like 5FPS+ but I'm not sure if it's worth the graphical glitches one might stumble upon later in the game.
No, this is me trying to run Metroid Prime 1. And I was originally running with AA disabled and still had the same issue. Like I said, it is def not my hardware, if anything the hardware I have right now is overkill for any game I am able to play on Dolphin.
Try r7483x64 http://www.dolphin-emu.org/download.html?rev=7483&bit=64&os=win

Select the profile of the Metroid Prime Trilogy and set up this way:[attachment=6419][attachment=6420]

Lock thread cores maybe help you gain some FPS[attachment=6421] (if you don't gain FPS, disable it)

The remaining configure that wayWink.[attachment=6422][attachment=6423][Image: 63191154.png]

How many FPS you are getting now???Huh
I will try these when I get home and let you know how it works out, thanks.
Using those same settings with Lock cores on and off and the game doesn't even load. Dolphin freezes at "Clearing code cache." which I have never seen before. This is extremely frustrating Sad

EDIT: I got it running at around 50 fps average but the audio is still bad. It runs smoother when no effects are going on, but when I spam shoot and/or an explosion happens the sound gets extremely choppy. I can get the graphics to work properly, but the sound just won't budge :/

EDIT 2: I finally got the sound to budge more, it is still choppy in some places with alot of effects that produce sound going on but it is alot better. It is much more playable than it has been.

Don't advice people to "tweak" (read: fuck up) their config like that (concerning the game specific config). The default config already disables stuff like that if it's not needed, so there's no need to do that manually.

In fact, people who misunderstand your advice (which is pretty easy in this case) will most likely try this with other games and end up with not being able to run a game at all. And we'll be the ones who need to figure out who told the user to fuck up their config then Dodgy

Great, good luck @BastinadoWink

DSPHLE: Unknown ucode (CRC = 3389a79e) - forcing AXWii. Try LLE plugin if this is homebrew.

*shrug*...it works with LLE plugin but it's unplayable slow of course...

Fixed (for those of you who were wondering Wink)
Yeah, I just tried MP1 with HLE and it works nicely. For me just still a bit too slow in big areas. People with an i7 should have a perfect experience, though Smile
