Check in your control panel the power options first, in case you have power savings enabled. Also check for overheating, though i doubt that is the reason.
Really sorry to drag up an old thread but had a hot summer here and found my CPU running at 90 degrees celsius. I got myself an Evo 212 and it brought it down to 30 celsius.
Since posting the original thread I upgraded to a 970 but still had issues with Windwaker. After installing the Evo I've run Windwaker on higher setting with no issues.
Again sorry but thought it might be worth posting in case anyone else had the same issue.
