So basically when Im playing melee/projectm(brawl mod)(not any other games) I get slowdowns even though im constantly getting 60 frames per second, ive tried alot of settings to see if it helps but none have yet.
The only thing I can remember that I changed is my graphics card from a AMD HD6870 to a GTX 770 so performance wise I should be fine, im also running a i5 2500k cpu at stock which also should be fine for those games.
The thing is back when I played these 2 games with my old card I never had any weird slow/choppy frames and that was also at a steady 60fps. How can I fix this issue? Its annoying me alot and no one seems to have a fix for it.
The GTX 770 might be running in power saving mode. Look for a setting in the driver to change it to run in high performance mode.

Didnt help.
Im trying my old Dolphin revision 7514 atm and theres literally NONE of these slowdowns I have in the newer dolphins. The problem is I need to use newer revisions for netplay.
If you're using the Dualcore Netplay build for Smashladder and such, go into Graphics Settings, select OpenGL, go into hacks, and enable the Vertex Streaming Hack. This was before native support for buffer storage was added.
Also, obligatory blah blah, older versions of the emulator suck and don't emulate tons of things so they will be faster in some things because they are doing less.

I fucking love you
The latest dev version is better for netplay now anyway due to deterministic dual-core awesomeness. Faster AND more compatible than the dc-netplay builds; there's literally no reason to be using those anymore.
DC-netplay branch has UDP netplay, which some people will really like; Master doesn't have that yet.

but whats so good with latest master? i play on 4x with stable 60fps on netplay dolphin revision. ty again for help.
Like I said, latest master is EVEN faster (over 30% on average), has many less bugs and higher compatibility. There isn't anything that ISN'T good with the latest master (except UDP netplay, which JMC47 pointed out).
