In short when I'm using Dolphin 4.0-4091. PC specs are windows 7 professional 64 bit, RAM 12GB, cpu is an i7-3770, graphics card is an nvidia GT 620. If I am in openGL mode when playing the game, regardless of which lock on type i have set in the game options, once i attack a single time(even if the enemy is right next to me) I immediately lose lock on. The problem can be avoided by using D3D mode, but i'm curious as to why its happening in the first place with openGL. Here is a couple of screenshots of settings [Image: DolphinopenGLsettings.png] [Image: Dolphinsoundsettings.png]
All boxes in other tabs for openGL are unchecked. As for game .ini settings everything has a blue box(not entirely sure what the means) and under the patches tab i have the Hyrule field hack box checked. Outside of that, i have an xbox 360 controller configured for use as well, but i didn't think it necessary to show the settings for it.
Try setting the EFB cache to Texture and DSP to HLE.

This sounds more like an issue with the controller. Post pictures of the controller setup please?
If its a controller issue, then why does switching to D3D mode fix the problem? As for switching to texture and HLE, according to the wiki both of those are known to cause issues with this game. Anyway here is a screenshot of the controller settings [Image: Dolphincontrollerconfig-1.png]
Uncheck "Skip EFB Access from CPU". It's known to cause issues like this.
Okay unchecking that did fix it, thanks for the help.
As for the wiki on HLE, recently (as in after the wiki was last updated) HLE was fixed for all games and no longer causes crashes Smile

And as for the EFB to texture/RAM, in the .ini file for TP it will auto-force it into RAM, so you can keep in on texture for the other games you play.
Hmmn HLE never caused crashes for me on any games, even on older versions of Dolphin. The problem I would sometimes have with it(this game is a good example) is sound balancing would get screwed up using it. For example in 4.0.2 stable, HLE on this game makes sound effects almost muted, but music sounds normal. I haven't tried HLE with this svn build yet however.
The sound balance isn't totally fixed yet, but its way better than it was. Give it a try Smile
In this games case HLE has actually gotten worse since 4.0.2 stable. In 4.0.2 stable music sounded about normal and sound effects were muted. But in 4091, music is now really really loud, and sound effects are still muted. I will definitely be continuing to use LLE for this game.
Ok, whatever works. Happy gaming Smile
