So I moved my processor and gpu onto another motherboard and case, and now my xbox one controller isn't working with any game or emulator. I've tried reinstalling the driver, but it didn't work. In dolphin, it shows that I am mashing buttons in the controller menu until I launch a game then none of my button mashing reads anymore. What is going on? QQ
Try different usb ports. I honestly have never heard of that happening.
Try a reboot, make sure you have all of your other drivers up to date for you new board, and check for a BIOS update.

If you moved the HD without reinstalling Windows, that may also be an issue

Yeah I did move the HD without reinstalling windows. QQ
Everything else seems to work right though, so I wonder why it's just the controller being stupid.
There could be some sort of driver clash between the old board and new board. Did you totally uninstall the drivers and then reinstall them?
Well, i did with the controller. still nothing. It's weird because as I said, in the gcpad config it shows in moving my joysticks, but when Im in game, it stops showing movement, as if something about running games is keeping the driver from running.
Try enabling background input and/or clicking on the Dolphin window where the game is being rendered.

Yeah I tried those. I have a theory though. What if I still have the driver for the usb port that my controller used to be in still installed on my computer or something like that. That would explain why it works on the desktop but not ingame.
*Thats just an uneduated guess though.
If anyone thinks they can figure it out, I do have team viewer. Smile
It is possible. Go into device manager and see if there's any conflicts showing up.
Well it said it was running right in device manager. Anyway, I did an experiment. I have a dual shock 3 controller and I used a driver to make it run like a 360 controller and guess what? It does the EXACT same thing! o.o

Edit:annnnnnd im the biggest DA on the planet. -_-
I kept plugging it in to usb 3.0 slots and it only works on 2.0.
Thanks for the help and sorry for wasting yalls time!
