Not really, there's much more wrong with pcsx2 than just gsdx hardware rendering.
You guys say this but as a end user I can use PCSX2 just fine without complaints. As you may have noticed a lot of people don't care about minor glitches as long as the game experience isn't ruined and it can be played from start to finish.
But so many games can't be played from start to finish.
2384 out of 2530 are playable according to PCSX2's website. And their definition of playable is You can get from 'new game' to 'end credits' (regardless of speed). That's 94% compared to Dolphin's 82%. I'd say it's just fine compared to Dolphin which is on mobile.
Dolphin's percentage is actually higher. Many games rated with 3 stars actually can be played from start to finish, but they have some annoyances affecting them. There's also a small percentage of games rated with 2 stars because they won't work in current development builds but actually play almost perfectly in specific Dolphin versions (like builds from wiispeak branch, hashless, etc)...

Their compatibility list lies.

Until JMC47 fussed at them about it, that compatibility list said that 2384 out of 2530 games were perfect! That list is duuuumb.

Dolphin has a different rating system that spreads things out a bit better. Their definition of playable takes up three of our five rating slots! Dolphin's rating system is not perfect (none is), but it's way better than theirs!
(As of maybe a year ago) There are games I have which they list as perfect that I can't even get to boot, let alone play right through.
Just adding to that, the compatibility on Linux vs Windows is quite large for PCSX2, whereas on Dolphin I can only expect a lot compatibility issues across OSes to be fringe cases. I doubt that list takes OSes into account (I mean who doesn't run Windows anyway?).
