I would like to play Melee for the game cube with any graphics setting that my pc can handle.
My specs are as followed.

Processor: Pentium Dual-Core 2.60GHz
Graphics card: Intel G33/G31
RAM: 6.2 gigabytes
Buy a decent graphics card for $99 and yes you can.

Edit: Unless Melee is more demanding then brawl.

Wait, are you saying I can run it if I buy a new one, or I can run it right now?
You have to buy a new one. Your integrated graphics are garbage. Honestly I would recommend a entirely new computer but if you're okay with that computer then just upgrade the graphics card.

Damn...So theres no way I can make it work?
Dolphin needs a strong CPU to run games. Your CPU is pretty old, but should still be just handle Melee IF you use the latest dev build.

Normally, as long as the GPU can meet the minimum level for 1x IR/AA/AF, then it's fine. However, the Intel G series is utter crap (I know because I've used them before), as they are missing proper video rendering assets that are needed to properly display Dolphin.

Going for a full computer upgrade would be the best choice. You can get the Pentium Anniversary G3258 and a Z97 motherboard for about $100 and overclock it to 4.6-4.7 Ghz on the stock Intel cooler and have it perform the same as an i5-4690K/i7-4790K at 4.4 Ghz. The Intel HD graphics would be ok to reach at least 2-3x IR depending on the game.

If you get a whole new computer with a G3258, it'll come out to about $400 or so. Then throw in a Nvidia GTX 750/750 Ti, and you'll have a killer Dolphin machine.
As someone who's tried running Dolphin on a Pentium Dual-Core with a Mobility Radeon 4330 before, I can tell you that you won't get a very good experience, even if the GPU is "good enough" for 1x. The CPU will max out easily. I was getting about 50% speed on the current dev builds with all the optimization options I could make use of, at least when trying to run Brawl, Wind Waker, and Pokemon XD.
@ThePokeman92: since he's on a desktop and not a mobile CPU, he'll get higher than 50%.

Seeing as how he's probably running the Pentium E5300, then I would tend to say he can probably make just under fullspeed if he had a GPU that could at least make 1x IR.

I still have a Q6600 at 2.4 Ghz with a GT 640, and using the latest dev builds I can hit 90-100% when playing Brawl, so depending on how his setup is based, he may be just under fullspeed for Melee. But that was on a fresh install with nothing else running beside base Microsoft services. He'll probably get between 75-90% since there are no extra cores to pawn off background processes to.

@OP: really, your best bet is to get a new computer.

Ah, missed the fact that was a desktop chipset, my mistake there. The E5300 is a 2.6GHz model though, and nothing in the 5xxx series has a 2.40GHz model if what I was able to find is accurate. The only dual-core pentium I could find was the E2220. I can say I have access to an E5300 desktop, though I've never tried using dolphin with it. Unfortunately I just left the house it was located at and won't be back for two weeks. I woudln't get my hopes up, but to the OP: it doesnt hurt to load up dolphin and try it, the only thing you'll be wasting is time, but I do agree with KHg8m3r that you'll probably be needing a new computer.

EDIT: and I neglected to mention the CPU I was using on the laptop I mentioned on the other post, it was the Pentium T4400, which if synthetic benchmarks are to be believed has almost the exact same performance as a Pentium E2220 in terms of single-core performance. If that's the desktop CPU the OP has, it's a safe bet it won't run well.
Sorry sonicrider3, we're kinda going off on a bit of a tangent Tongue

@ThePokeman92: the OP said his Pentium CPU is at 2.60 Ghz. I was saying I used a CPU with 2.4 Ghz and could only reach 90-100%. So my claim of being an E5300 still stands Tongue

What I said about speed needs to be tweaked though, as like you, it got into my mind that OP had a 2.4 Ghz CPU Tongue
Sonicrider3 should hit between 85-95%, since what the CPU lacks in multi-core it almost makes up in being clocked 200 MHz higher.
