I'll take a swing at working out when the FIFO issue was introduced this weekend, assuming no one else is already working on it.

Also, the shader-reload-issue that F-Zero suffers from - is that likely to get fixed? I assume that as the shader cache is built up it won't cause the reloads so much?
If you want to fix the reset issue in F-Zero GX, there are two solutions. Having us wait for shaders with a predictive fifo works, or having the shaders load asynchronously (showing nothing for unloaded shaders) is also an option. Ishiiruka has both of those solutions, but someone needs to port them over to master. They did not implement async shaders for OpenGL, though.
I spotted that custom branch after I asked about it Smile Hm shame its DX11/9 only, OGL seems to be where its at now days.

I'll comment back here when I work out when the FIFO error was introduced. F-Zero is one of the games I emulate most, big screen TV + 4 controllers... its really rather good!
The Fifo error has happened for a very long time; and it's sporatic to reproduce, so good luck!
