Afaik this isn't even that far off, I think AMD has a newer API to use on Windows 10 or smth like that.
That or they might have reduced CPU overhead which it only does on Windows 10 for some reason.

That is because of WDDM 2.0
I'm gonna wait and see if it offers significant improvement over 8.1. Of course that means I would have to wait until the inevitable launch bugs are ironed out. I plan on making 8.1 (or 10) my last os before making the jump to Linux. Hopefully pc gaming becomes more Linux friendly in the next 3-5 years.
I'm using Windows 10 and I have 0 bugs going on. The only problem I've had is with Void Elsword not working due to it's old hackshield so that isn't it's fault.

I did the same since i had issues with the auto update but the app downloads windows so slow... About 10% per hour probably 10 hours to download...
