Could you try these two revisions, and confirm the problem. There is another member on these forums who has the same issue.
It comes from the merge of "efb2tex_alpha" in revision 4.0-418

You're a genius!! You pinpointed the issue!! Now what do we do from here? Smile
Nothing, there was an issue posted and got closed since it seems the wrong pics are actually the right pics in the actual hardware and it is not a bug, instead the suggested as correct pics had the bloom of the game broken.
A developer verified in actual hardware that even the kinks of bloom were there.
