Hi guys

I got a problem related to controls, i was trying to play super smash bros brawl and melee but everytime i move
it always dashes and counts as a double tap, i cant walk, i tried using the keyboard and my controller as a gamecube controller and wii classic controller
but it didnt work, i cant walk normally so it wasnt my controller or keyboard's fault,
please help ive tried tweaking the settings in the controller option and the one in the key mapping and it still doesnt work
and yes i have disabled and put the wii controller options to none when i played brawl and melee

my current version of dolphin is 4.0 i have tried many versions but the problem still exist

please help me out and thank you
There have been changes to the way dolphin handles controller input in the latest dev builds. Go download the latest dev build and see if it helps for you (it did for me)

thanks for replying

but it still doesnt work, i tried using the latest dev builds but still no luck

i think its an issue with dolphin's double tap sensitivity, a single press on the main stick cause a double tap
because in braw; or melee the way you dash is by double tapping, i cant figure out how to resolve this
please help me out
My windows is currently being reinstalled, so I can't check, but in the latest dev build, restore the defaults config for the controls and then re-setup the controller.

Also try uninstalling and then reinstalling your controller driver if the above doesn't work.

ive tried pressing the default button but it still not working and as i said before it is not an issue with my controller because i also tried using the keyboard and it still acts as if i'm double tapping the main stick,

i feel like its an issue with the sensitivity

do you mind posting a picture of your GCPad configuration? so that i can compare it to mine

I just got my computer up and running again. Here's how mine is set up, and I can double tap to dash and use regular walking speed.
