Hello guys, I am new to Dolphin however I have sorted out my way around this program. I have managed to play Mario Bros on single player mode. But when me and my friend is trying to play the game online through netplay neither of our controllers are responding. The game starts but doesn't respond. Does anyone know why this is happening? I am sure this version of mario works with Dolphin as I have seen people playing together on YouTube. Again, this works perfectly on single player mode. The game starts for both of us and all but just doesn't respond to our controllers. We are both using a windows 7 computer with keyboards as our controllers. If someone could help me with this it would have been so great.

thank you

Which one?
Why are you even using 3.5? Actual development builds are a lot faster than that thing: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/

@ED2: I´m pretty sure he is referring to NSMBW.
3.5 doesn't support wiimotes over netplay afaik
Thanks for the reply guys! The thing is. I have tried the latest version and it has the same problem. And also, the game is so laggy for my friend on the latest version. Could you guys give me a link if possible, to the latest one? Just to make sure that I am using the latest one. (I know its 4.0.2 or something). Any help will be appreciated. Btw, I am just using Hamachii server to connect! Would that be enough?

[EDIT] Okay sorry for that guys! I sorted it out on the latest version! Thanks a lot! But I got one more question! My friend is running x32 BIT version, and the latest version of Dolphin only shows x64. Does this mean he will not be able to run it? :\

ALSO!! The game is very choppy in the latest version of Dolphin! D:
32-bit is no longer supported
Answer to edit: yes, unless he quits from X86 and installs an X64 Windows version (he can even use the same license key if he´s on W7 or W8).

Answer 2: no, 4.0.2 isn´t latest build. 4.0-2765 is, at time of writing.

Answer 3: Get two programs called CPU-Z and GPU-Z to get full CPU and GPU information. Once you get it, use it to complete your profile and post the info here so we can help you with the slowdown.
I sorted out 99% of my issues. I still have yet to understand if my friend will be able to play with me as his system is x32 bit version and the latest version is only x64 bit. He wants to play online with me but the old version doesn't support it. Can he run x64 bit version on his x32 bit computer? because earlier I managed to run x32 bit on my computer. If not, is there anything he can do to run Netplay on his version? :\

Thanks for all the help
Tell him to tell you (lol) his PC specs and which Windows version (7, 8, 8.1) is using. If he´s on any of the mentioned versions, he can just get the X64 version ISO of the system he uses from Microsoft; and while installing it he can use the same license key he used when installed X32 Windows version.

Ah hes using Windows 7 x32 bit. So, he has to install Windows 7 freshly again? :\ Which also means he's gonna lose all his files unless backed up! Isnt it? I mean, is it possible that the x64 bit version of Dolphin might work on x32 bit version of windows? And why is there no x32 bit Dolphin :\ Kinda sad
