Hi, i just started using dolphin and i've got some problems with the FPS on my PC. maybe it's just the specs but having an old game like ikaruga playing at 10-30FPS tops is too much. Anyone can give me a hand on clearing up this problem? thanks Big Grin

here's my specs:

Intel P4 3GHz
2GB RAM
XFX GeForce 9500GT 512MB DDR2
windows XP SP2
Yeah, your PC is pretty much old. You need dual core for full speed. Everything else is good Smile

is there any other way other than changing my OS?
no other way, without a cpu dual core.
You can try to disable the (other audio) throttle into the dsp settings, sometimes works but just 2-3 fps more.
Use ever the last svn. disable all the video filters.
enable the jit dynarec into the config menù.
The graphic card's important only for the correct visualization. The speed of every emulator's directed by the cpu.
Not just 2-3 FPS but the whole 100 FPS that makes it unplayable Tongue
O__o !?
i never tried to disable the other audio (throttle), i just read it in the forum!
ahahah so much fps?
maybe i can try it with mario party (sometimes slow down: the snowfield map)
Mario Party 4, 5 & 6 are full speed playable games without other audio Tongue

blizder

what do you mean by disabling all the video filters?
try disabling the post process effects like AA (Antialiasing) and the others effects.
turn on the native resolution (i think it will be good)

blizder

got it thanks. btw,i tried tatsunoko and it lagged like nobody's business...guess wii's not for my com for the moment lol
