Specifically, it's Radeon HD5770, the one recommended on the faq.

Is it normal to only get 2x IR for smooth FPS (1.5x if you want to combat FPS dropping to 20 in boss battles. Looks blurry and jaggy as hell though.)?

Latest developer build (2554). Tried the D3D backend optimization thing yet can only reach OpenGL speed.
Are you sure it's HD5770 , not 5570 ?
The title of this thread is "Radeon HD5500 on Xenoblade" though
I used a weaker GPU than HD 5770 (Asus 9800GT) , it can handle 3xIR just fine in Xenoblade

...Oh shit, it's goddamn HD 5570. No wonder it was so cheap (and by cheap, I mean low end tier cheap)

Fuck that store for selling only low end video cards. There goes my 42$.

Look at that gap between 5770 and 5570 in the benchmark. 5770 is two times faster than 5570, if not more.

Now let's see if I can find a decent computer store here with a decent video card.

I suppose you couldn't Crossfire it, could you?
Crossfire , SLI , Dual GPU are all useless with Dolphin
Dolphin uses only 1 GPU

Yeah, thought so.

Edit: So, I've checked the prices and it seems HD 6870 is the cheapest card that's as good as HD 5770. Would that be enough?
How much does it cost ? a used one ?

Around 145$, without shipping.

Oh, and I just noticed that my monitor's (an HDTV to be exact) native resolution is 1366 x 768 (or so Windows say), but it can display up to 1920 x 1080. What's up with that? I thought your native resolution is your maximum resolution.
Don't bother with it . It's old
Either get R7 265 or GTX 750 TI

How about R9 270 instead? According to GPU benchmark, it's quite a lot better than those two, even though its price isn't that different.
Yeah , if you have more money to spend then why not ?
