Dolphin is a dual core application . AMD FX 8350 has 8 logical cores but performance per core is poor . You will be surprised to know an OCed 20th Anniversary Edition Pentium G3258 ($74) can slaughter an Oced i5 4670k ($235) in Dolphin
The three strongest CPU for Dolphin atm : i7 4790k > i5 4690k > G3258
