thanks for the vids, sorry you're stuck in the hospital. at least you have a sweet tablet to keep you company. I figured out why Mario kart was so slow, its b/c in time trial you can pull higher frames than grand prix mode (less polygons to push when you only have one kart on the screen). excited to see this emulator develop.

Yepp, devices are getting powerful, hopefully we will se phones/tablet run this near fullspeed by next year.
Just got a wii game booting (Thank you SeannyM), but noticed i wont come anywhere without a wii input overlay. Anyone got a solution? I would be able to upload 2-3 videos if i get this "fixed" by tonight.

Wii input is not a thing yet. Previously, Wii games didn't even boot with the JIT recompiler until I made a workaround (which should eventually be turned into a real fix) and since uncompressed Wii games still don't boot, it's not a high priority since some people won't be able to get any even running without assistance.
I know i said no more Wii games. But just this one wont hurt (i have to say that the games that does boot works better than most GC games ive tested)

I tested many different dolphin versions today, i found the 4.0-1879 to be the fastest one for my shield tablet.
The difference between 1879 and newer version today is not huge, but in my tests i found it to be 5-10% faster. Here is a video showing the difference:
