TIL austrian keyboards are PCBs and they use their aryan powers to wirelessly open/close the circuits for each key through sheer willpower.

That poor sound card! Is it okay?

the card itself looks still fine (except for mobos burned plastic on its pins and case), still I doubt the card survived unscathed. ill send it in to creative and let them check.

by the time my mobo decided to combust, I wasnt even at my pc or in the room. the pc was idling without any load whatsoever. last thing I changed was install that soundcard, but that was over 7 months ago...

Well, you know what that kind of thing usually is? Insecure connection between the motherboard and anything else. Since it has nothing to do with load, and is just from very high resistance, it's likely that the card is fine. Unless, of course, the heat melted part of it. Which is what I'm worried about.

i just checked my other components (just by looking at them, not testing):
My PSU (AX860i) has partially melted/burned plastic inside! holy shit what the fuck happened to my system. this is the worst week ever. THE GOD DAMN FUCKING WORST WEEK EVER!

Going to take a gander and say something happened to your PSU and the resulting whatever caused enough stuff to poopernoodle into the thingamajig and burned your mobo, so it was probably all a single incidence.
