Okay just started emulating today and the sound skips for some reason. Any idea how to fix it? I tried two games Tales of Symphonia and Fire Emblem

Also if it helps I have a Windows 7
Fill out your profile information correctly
Your computer is lagging; it's no fault of the emulator.

So should I try to delete a few programs or something? Maybe close a few programs?
JMC47 meant it was an issue with your hardware, not Dolphin. Post your hardware specs so we can tell you for certain. We can't help you without info.

Yeah I probably should get on that. Where can I find the info?
Get CPU-Z and GPU-Z. Run them and then post your CPU and GPU info.

Not sure about downloading that tbh . But I did find a bit more info after digging around
CPU-Z and GPU-Z are programs trusted by computer enthusiasts all around the world, just so you know. There's nothing shady about them if that's what you're thinking.

Anyway, your CPU is terribly weak for Dolphin. You really need an upgrade if you want to play the emulator at decent speeds. If you give us a budget, we can give you a build in that price range (of course you have to have a realistic budget).

And that explains why you've been getting sound skips. If you can't run games full-speed (and that's probably the case with your CPU) the sound will be choppy
