I have taken the time to locate the only version of Dolphin (that I could find) that will fix the issues with this games bloom scaling. The bloom is disabled in this build. What I did was use this build, apply SweetFX 64bit, and force its bloom. It looks just as if the game had working bloom! This build also fixes the mini-map making it look significantly better. Give it a try and see for yourself!

You will have to get the ISO yourself. I will not provide an illegal copy.

The settings in this build are also optimized for the best Twilight Princess experience Big Grin
IF you really want to assist you could say what's going on with the build you selected. Does it have no bloom? Or is the bloom just not offset? What build are you using? Rather than just saying, here's a build, use it, shouldn't the goal be figuring out why it's broken and fixing it?

I edited my post, but I mentioned it has to do with the upscaling of bloom in this game. This particular build renders things differently and in essence "breaks" the bloom. It removes bloom entirely and fixes the games mini-map. I took the build and added my own bloom. This is the only way to fix the issue.
That's not true though; the bloom is offset at 1x IR. the thing your build does is find out when EFB2Texture could play the game without bloom in D3D9 (unchecking virtual emulates the bloom again.)

If you wanted the bloom to be possibly fixed in latest builds, could you find the first build where those settings produce the in-game bloom?

You are right that at 1x IR the bloom is still offset. That is not what matters. It does have to do with the EFB copies. All I know, is this build does something differently and bloom is not active. So here I provide the build and a solution to the problem in the short term.
I checked on latest master compared to the GameCube/Wii, and I don't think the bloom offset still happens. To be honest, not sure that matters; finding a build where the bloom is outright disabled is nice because you can just replace it, as you did.

Sorry for misunderstanding your thread at first, it helped me research the bug more, and I do appreciate the work you put into narrowing it down.

hmmm.. I do not know if this qualifies as "offset" but this is the ghosting that is very much present. I am using Dolphin 4.0 btw. please take a look, tell me what you think. Is the game supposed to do this? There are of course worse instances of this in the game.

Somebody must know what I am talking about here.
Make sure you get your builds from our site, not that other site. https://dolphin-emu.org/

And try the latest development version. It's better there.
That looks like the Bloom Offset bug, but I'm no longer able to reproduce it on my machine using latest builds.
