Hey guys,

Im running dolphin 4.0.2 with windows 8.1 and I bought a wiimote plus today that doesnt work. Older wiimotes work just fine and the new one connects with the pc but when I hook it up to dolphin and sync it, the controller vibrates but the light on the controller do not stop flashing and does not show a 1 or 2. I am using an alienware X51 with internal bluetooth and windows drivers. The controller will connect to my computer easily but not dolphin.
RVL-CNT-01-TR Wiimotes do not work with the MS bluetooth stack. You can either use the Toshiba Stack (which requires the purchase of an adapter, one is available Recommended Accessories Page) or thanks to the recent fix, use the Mayflash DolphinBar (note that the dolphinbar would require latest dev versions and would not work in 4.0.2, but we're past due for a new stable anyway) (and the Dolphinbar requires a firmware update to support the -TR, but that's easy).

The bluetooth connection to the computer is fine, the problem is connecting to dolphin. It vibrates when I hit 1+2 to try and sync the wiimote but does not assign a player number and remains dysfunctional. Would the Toshiba stack fix that?
No, the problem is your bluetooth. Wiimotes do not sync with windows first, ordinary wiimotes connect with 1+2 when you hit refresh in the wiimote properties window - no pairing or anything beforehand. RVL-CNT-01-TR wiimotes do not connect with 1+2, and require the sync button, but even then they do not work with the MS bluetooth stack. That's where the Toshiba Stack or the Dolphin Bar come into play.

OK Thanks. Just to confirm this means nothing? (attachment) (The TR shows the same status)
Yea it means nothing. Connecting a wiimote to your computer like that won't establish a connection that can actually be used by anything. Wiimotes are like that.

Wineaux

I'm trying to pair these controllers to the latest version of OSX Mavericks. I've followed the connection guide up to the point where it no longer matches up to OSX Mavericks, which is when the connection fails. There is no longer an option to pair without a PIN. One can either put in a PIN, or cancel. That's it. If you have any suggestions or workarounds, I'd really love to hear them, and am ready to try them out.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
I' ve the same problem. I can't connect the RVL-CNT-1-TR.
If I'm right the MayFlash Wireless Sensor DolphinBar will solve the problem.
But unfortunaly I'm an Linux and read it's only for windows... right?
So alternativ I only can use this USB-Dongle "Azio BTD-V201 USB Micro Bluetooth Adapter, Class 1, V2.1 + EDR" right?
If you are on linux than you shouldn't be having any problems. All of the problems with the -TR are because of the MS bluetooth stack - the default bluetooth stack on windows.

Since you are on Linux, all you have to do is open the wiimote panel, hit refresh, then press the sync button on the bottom of your -TR. And wiimote will vibrate and it's connected. That's it. There's no pairing or anything beforehand.
Thanks for your explanation. I will test again today evening...

Have I to follow this every time when I start dolphin? because I planing to start the
games from kodi (aka xbmc) via Advaced Launcher....
