So I take that as a no-go?

But isn't OpenGL "software" in a sense? So couldn't I just download it in some fashion, or am I thinking up nonsense?
Think of it like this: OpenGL is a hardware interface. It's a common language that a piece of software can use to communicate with a GPU. Without something in the middle like OpenGL, such as before DirectX and OpenGL existed, any software that wanted to use a GPU had to be specifically coded for specific GPUs. But thanks to OpenGL and DirectX, they can just code for a version of those standards and any GPU that supports said version of that standard will work, no matter who made it or when it was made.

Anyway, the point is, both the software and the hardware have to support it. Dolphin supports it, your hardware does not, so it doesn't work.
Ah, here's the problem:

My tablet has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip in it. If I read the correct stuff, only Snapdragons 600 and 800 have OpenGL 3.0 support.

So the only way I can get OPENGL 3 is to physically deconstruct the tablet and put a Snapdragon 600 in there (hence the "hardware"), which I am not too keen on doing.

Oh well, it was worth a shot. Thank you everybody for helping me out through this! Smile

The Snapdragon 400 is the CPU, it has nothing to do with OpenGL ES 3. My phone has a Snapdragon 400 CPU, but also has an Adreno GPU that supports OpenGL ES 3. Besides, you can't put new hardware in an Android device, even if you got it installed correctly, it would not boot unless your system was modified for the new architecture. Sorry :p

Edit: I realized I was talking about the Galaxy Note 3 supporting OpenGL ES 3 in a previous post and not the Tab 3, so that's why I thought your tablet would support it.
Oh...then...im still lost, lol. What does OpenGL work with? I know it does graphics and stuff, but Im under the impression there's a hardware portion to this as well?
I know less than I think I do. Tongue

You need a supported GPU, and the GPU's manufacturers need to have implemented OpenGL ES 3 in their drivers. I don't know if your GPU supports it or not, but if it does the GPU manufacturer hasn't made updated drivers.
My tablet has an Adreno 305 GPU in it. I'm nearly 100% positive it can't support OpenGL because these games aren't working.

Here's another question that's probably ridiculous: are there any Gamecube games that won't utilize OpenGL 3.0? I know not all the games use the same shaders (Paper Mario, Wind Waker, etc.) and maybe they can be run on different graphics things. Again, I have no idea what I'm saying, I'm not an expert in graphic processing, so if this is irrational, let me know Tongue

The adreni 305 has full 3.0 support. The Tab 4 has a vivante GPU, which is stuck with 2.0 and sucks anyways

Whoops. Wrong tablet model. Too many Samsung tablets. Your tablet does have the adreni 305 with full GL 3.0 support.
Ok. XD I went looking further on the internet, and I have found somewhere that says my tablet has Vivante. Wikipedia says I have Adreno 305. Considering the games won't work, I'm leaning toward Vivante.

Sorry about this, I feel like we're all going in circles and going nowhere, I blame myself for that one. It does, no it doesn't, it does, no it doesn't...
It definitely has Vivante because it obviously does not support OpenGL ES 3, which it would if it had an Adreno 305. Sorry :/
