These features are already in desktop dolphin, so they will eventually be added to android. However, the android version is still very incomplete. The Mi Pad would be a pretty good device to use.
You would get horrific performance in the software renderer, even on a fast desktop, let alone a K1. Frame skipping can not magically improve performance in an emulator like Dolphin and would do very little for a tablet, even with OpenGL.
The Xiaomi MiPad can run the OpenGL video backend quite well though. There isn't a need to use the software renderer there.

I have a Mipad, any chance of releasing the dev build you used to post those youtube videos?

I did try using the latest version from builder bot:
dolphin-master-4.0-2221
But it was not playable speeds on Mario Kart double dash, this was using ES3.1 and dual cpu. I'm hoping the devs will release the version they used to play the youtube videos they uploaded.
well thanks for your reply, i hope sonicadvance1 release the version that works great on tegra k1.

I tried running Mario Kart double dash on my HTC M8 and with the same settings but it has broken up models, glitching etc At least on the Mipad it does render correctly. However since the Mipad uses 4:3 screen I can't see any debug or fps indicator. The S801 probably has broken Adreno drivers.
The versions in the Youtube Video was just a regular dev build.
