Exclusive fullscreen is supposed to be smoother, but regarding 3D Vision, exactly how is this better when I already have the profile installed?
(Found it in a forum post I can't seem to find anymore)
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
<ArrayOfProfile>
<Profile>
<ProfileName>Dolphin Emulator</ProfileName>
<Executeables>
<string>dolphin.exe</string>
</Executeables>
<Settings>
<ProfileSetting>
<SettingID>1881060439</SettingID>
<SettingValue>0</SettingValue>
</ProfileSetting>
</Settings>
</Profile>
</ArrayOfProfile>
Ahh, seems like I had a profile for it that I forgot about that was keeping it from saving. Now all the settings save lol. My bad (indicator settings anyway). Saving works. Cursors in game and out double though unlike the one I had at first. Nvapi.dll works now when I got rid of that old profile. 3D settings save (with source code (dll from nvidia forums)):

Please try the new build, it should now be fixed.
I used Xenoblade Chronicles and Dolphin 4.0-2049 to set the baseline before jumping to your build, 4.0-2187. Assuming I'm not overlooking a mistake on my part (and that would be embarrassing), this build is the ideal one for those who find themselves habitually looking up skirts.
My controller worked fine in the previous build, but in this build it seems to not want to let me move the camera in any vertical direction. No matter what direction I push the right stick, the camera acts as if I'm telling it to rotate around Sharla, and only in a clockwise direction. Strange.
4.0-2049 is already quite an old build, you should try the latest development build. There are some known input problems unrelated to this feature.
The latest build restores the "3D Vision" option on the Enhancements page. Enable this option if you don't get any stereoscopy effect when 3D Vision is enabled.
Aside from no vsync, everything (including 3D) seems to be working just fine. Games feel a bit smoother, but that could just be placebo.

It's not just a placebo; there's a verified way to see that it's actually smoother.

That is not a placebo, that is one of the primary reasons why I've implemented exclusive fullscreen and why it will be enabled by default.
Alright found something. Closing the emu out with the x button when in window mode freezes the emu. 3D doesn't have to be activated. (edit2: version before current. doesn't happen on current anymore. ignore).
Edit: I just saw the new build and downloaded it and games and hud are messed up badly. freezes and upside down images (opengl backend). I overwrote my zip file so can I have the version before the update or can you fix the opengl backend? Edit 5: Opengl backend is messed up on the latest official build too so didn't originate here.
Edit 3: Is the 3D vision checkbox really necessary? Why do we need it? What happens differently? I get 3D with or without it.
Edit 4: If you could change the window's name to the name of the rom that is currently loaded, that would make it so that ppl could fix the 3D in games individually (the internal rom name or internal game id code) using helix mod and such.
Edit 6: something in this build (or latest dev build) has messed up something in the emu when overwrite. when pressing esc, emu freezes. didn't happen in previous pr version. but when you overwrite original version back, it gives all previous versions this problem.
This build is a lot more slower in THPS 3 =/ (the fps show 59.9fps) and Virtua Striker 2002 in D3D11 >>> EFB to RAM (not using 3D Vision), but runs faster in mode window?? (Alt+TAB or window key).
