no, i can't beat the flying boat

only can play importing the gci file to the memory card but the FPS are low, i have a core 2 duo e7400 2,8 ghz 2 gb ram gforce 9600.

Also, just by using the patch, you can get in game and create a save just fine, you won't be able to beat the flying boat though, but you don't have to use any savestate trick :p

Apparently in the PAL version you can see the video but the memory card is broken . In the NTSC version is backwards , The memory card works but the video doesn't

I have the PAL (FR) version, i can save/create a save file just fine, but the video just loops the first frames. I tried in x86 and x64 on Interpreter/JIT/JITIL, so that's why it seemed strange to me, how he did get the video to show ?

I'll try to help you but my english is not very good.
using Dolphin r4701 and Starfox PAL (sp) in Interpreter with the patch (0x8004ABDC:dword:0x60000000) i can go in game. ( but you need to wait because the intro is really slow).
when Starfox is in game i made a savestate.
now in Dolphin JIT Recompiller open the savestate before Dolphin hangs in the Nintendo logo, but you can't beat the the flying boat because some things are missing in that level.
and that is how i did.

to play in another level you need a gci file and import the file into the memory card A.

I was referring to the intro video that shows in Fox's computer, you seemed to have it working in the screens you posted there :

yeah, is not playable hangs after choose memory card but is a great progress

as for the hang issue, i don't know about the save state trick, but my game starts with the patch in both interpreter and JIT without issues except for the video and the first boss. Are you sure savestating is actually needed ?

i can't go in game now. (using r4728)
something between r4701 and r4728 broke the game.
i get random crashes in the menu area and i can't create a new game

never mind, i forget the patch, now works

can someone pls share a savegame for dolphin at 7% ? i have a gci but i can't fix the checksum and it always needs to be formated

i have the same problem, can't format the memory card with Starfox, you need format the memory card with another game and then run Starfox.

if you can run Starfox post how many FPS you get in game.
