I don't remember seeing any blocks on space with OpenGL, also. I tested all graphic plugins before discovering that DSound was the culprit for the crashes between space levels and ground levels (Maybe it should be featured on the first post too?).

About the frost weeds, as I said, I did it recently. Have you tried JIT instead of JitIL? Been through a considerable portion of the game (reached Cape Claw for the first time now) with JIT only.

You may try following the configs on tkruk's post. This is a pretty strange issue. :/

BTW, I'm using x64 builds from mamario's site, did you tried that?
I tried both JIT and JITIL, maybe it's a recent issue then. No matter where I am it won't let me use the find command to get Tricky to find the frost weeds and bring it to the trapped mammoth or whatever it's name is.
SnowHorn. Tongue

BTW, I'm almost sure that I played it with R6270 or something close in this range (I can tell by the date of my latest posts in this thread). I saved right before the second space level in these days.

EDIT

Just remembered: When fighting the first boss — Galdon — on DarkIce Mines, something (that scared me the hell out of it the first time) appears on screen when the cutscenes start playing: an enormous white (and moving) silhouette of the boss, blocking ~50% of the cutscene view. Yes, the boss ends up appearing duplicated. Its position onscreen is totally off too, and its angle, it's like the monster is being viewed from above — even when the cutscene shows it from ground level.

It's bizarre, I should have got a screenshot of it.

After trying everything in this post i still cant get the game to run faster then 3 fps, when i open thegame its at 3 fps 0 vps and 20 speed. Anyidea on how to fix that >.> oh and one more thing i am also haveing a problem with the controlls as in the game wont regester when i hit a butten like 'down' >.< and lastly the memery card A is 'corrupt'. well any help is better then none thanks Smile
In the latest revisions there are some graphical glitches with this game.

THe hud, button dialogs, menu's and, water and particle effects are invisible with DX9. Could this be another clear screen issue?
It's fixed with r6668.
In the newest builds, I'm getting 90-100% performance throughout the entire game (Yes I've beat it already beat it) and i got 30 - 45 FPS throughout as well.
What was your speed during the cutscenes?

This game runs very... poorly, it has frame skipping issues audio is sketchy and is out of sync in the cutscenes (the cutscene problem is a common problem i can get over it if i can get the rest of it working properly). I'm guessing its something with the settings I have selected because it doubt its my computer, if someone could post a list of recommended settings or the such it would be much appreciated

... or it may be my computer these are my comps specs

Stability decreased a lot since a last touched this game. Got a crash after 20 minutes of gameplay.

The frame rate is even more erratic than before.
