ogl also has problems with shadows but little less noticable then Dx9.go to pic which Fevy showed and walk in there its easy to see,a lot of rendering problems result in stuttering effect.

Fevy

Yes, the stuttering is a bit annoying at times.
I tried OpenGL too, results are quite similar to Direct3D9.

Well, it won't prevent you to play the game.
It runs pretty smooth already, which is truly impressing.

I can't wait to see how much better it can get.

It also tends to be quite slow at times and stutters a lot, I'm getting dips as low 35 FPS - 39 FPS. Audio from characters and cutscenes seem to loop forever until the game is paused and unpaused, seems like weird issue with the AFC looping hack that affects a few games. Audio also tends to stutter and crackle on occasion, it's more prominent on the menu though.

use openAL to get rid of this looping sound
but openal requires very strong cpu in this game or maybe its sound card ,anyway openal on my side result in go stop go stop sound.not in all games but yes in this one.

sorry to butt into this thread so latee, but yeah, as of now, i can get it working fine on rev 5709, but on dolphin 2.0, i get nothingg. and on both i cannot get OpenGl to work at all. Im using the 64 bit version for both.
any ideas what the problem could be?
any response would be lovelyyy...
Cannot get past the first flying mission through the gold rings. After I beat the level the games (and the emulator) hangs on the screen fade out, getting into an eternal black screen.

Using JIT, R5767 x64. Tried disabling audio but to no avail. How did you got in the planet surface?

EDIT: I could get past it after switching do DX9, but then the game crashed again when Fox got the Krystal's Staff. The emulator survived this time, though. Big Grin
Here it is , an ugly hack to make slippy to shut up ( It makes the streamed music to stop after it was played ) Tongue

I wanted a patch to make Krystal STFU in the beginning of the game, but now it's ok... Tongue
So I've spent the last hour trying to figure out exactly what I need to use to get this to run from the twenty-two pages on here, but I still can't figure it out. I just started using dolphin so I'm kinda a n00b at it. I'm using the 2.0 build right now. Is there anyway someone can explain exactly what I need to do to get this to run and clear up some of my confusion. Any help is appreciated.

Btw just so you know. The best I've gotten so far is disabling Dual Core, which gets it past the nintendo logo, but the title screen runs at a mere 7fps and I haven't tried to get past it.
use the latest rev, look a few pages back.
