hey im just writing to ask which of these laptop would you recommend me buying to play games on dolphin
acer 15.6 aspire E1 intel core i3 processor
acer 15.6 Aspire V5 4th gen intel core i7 processor or
acer 15.6 Aspire V5 4th gen intel core i5 processor
would any of those laptops run gamecube and wii smoothly or not as I am just wondering thanks
It depends on what processors specifically are in those laptops. If they end in U or Y, then not very well as those are low power CPUs and are not suitable for Dolphin. If they end in M, they they should be ok for most games.

Find the specific model numbers and post them here.

okay as far I can find out the 3 model numbers are XC0229.XC9246,XC0230 im not sure if they are the model number or not as these laptops are in a catalog
XC0229 - Processor Model - Intel® Core™ i3-3217U (1.80GHz)
XC9246 - Processor Model - Intel® Core™ i7-4500U
XC0230 - having trouble finding it, but its probably a similar i5 version with a U at the end.

None of those will play GC/Wii games except for the most light-weight games

What other electronics stores are near you?
All 3 of those have the U series processor (ultra low power) and will not run dolphin well at all. You are better off finding a laptop with an i7 4700MQ. (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1...q%20laptop) Personally I have the HP Envy 15t-j100 and it does wonders and never overheats.

well I live in Australia so our stores will be most likely different but I got stores like dick smith bing lee and stores like that
I looked at bing lee because dick smith is under maintenance truculently and it seems unless your budget is over 1.4k your best bet is this one which is 1k.. http://www.binglee.com.au/hp-pavilion-to...5-6-inches
What games are you planning to play because that cpu is average for Dolphin.
