(request) How did you install Python 3? Maybe your Python installation is botched due to an architecture mismatch. I don't think my program is causing the bug, as it does not contain arch-specific code.

Well i've installed Dolphin from the AUR using Yaourt, since it's not in the official repository's, doesn't matter here though.
Also I know about issues running 32 bit binary's on a 64 bit system, but i've installed all the required 32 bit packages so this is not the problem.

Your reply to IntelMacGuy gave me the idea to do the same ("python3 <pythonscripthere") though, and it worked.
I guess Python2 is default, and I have to manually specify if I want to use Python 3. I guess I could just change it to make Python 3 default but whatever.

EDIT: Am able to play Mario Kart MP again without using a new license, great! A shame the first match I joined had a hacker using thunder before we even started and other hacks...

Python 2.7.6

How on earth did you get Python 2 to run when you run "python3" in a shell?

Yea I'm stupid I updated to version 3 and works now >.<

So I'm posting here because this seems like the most relevant active thread. I apologize for this being a long post but I feel it's best to go through everything I did, as it may better help people figure out what the problem is.


So I've been trying to get Wiimmfi to work on Dolphin so I can play Mario Kart Wii for the past 4 days. I am so totally lost my brain is starting to hurt and I'd REALLY appreciate any help.

So this is what I did.

1. Downloaded the latest MKW Wiimmfi Patcher
2. Patched my MKW ISO
3. Loaded up the new MKW ISO in Dolphin
4. Made a new Guest License
5. Selected Wiimmfi WFC
6. Got 49 of these popup errors: http://i.imgur.com/2SeBn5b.jpg
7. Googled "Invalid Read Wiimmfi", came up with no relevant matches
8. Clicked through all 49 of them
9. "Connecting to Wiimmfi WFC"
10. Got this error message: http://i.imgur.com/hmDBOX0.jpg
11. Googled "Wiimmfi error code 23915
12. Figured out it was probably becuse the default Dolphin installation's ID was banned from Wiimmfi's servers...?
13. Googled more, found a program made by user RachelB called "UnbanMii", found on these forums, here: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-is-dolphin-banned-for-wiimmfi-servers?pid=331030#pid331030
14. Closed Dolphin, used UnbanMii to generate new ID.
15. Started MKW back up, made new License, selected Wiimmfi WFC
16. Got those 49 popups again, clicked through them, "Connecting to Wiimmfi WFC"

If you look at the screenshot of the error 91010 I got, you see that it says "You have been disconnected from Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection". I selected Wiimmfi WFC, but it's now trying to connect to Nintendo? WTF is going on.

18. Googled "Wiimmfi error code 91010"

Mostly all search results are related to connecting to Nintendo Wi-Fi, the only one I could find that relates to Wiimmfi (found here) says this:

"91010 : Can be exactly the same as it was on WFC; it means your router is fucking up OR it can mean you were playing in a friend room and the host of it kicked you, in which case instead of you automatically winning the match or race, you would get a black screen. Also your Mii name would show up and say next to it that it has gotten kicked on this page: http://wiimmfi.de/show-bans"

Well, I wasn't playing in a friend room because I couldn't even connect yet. Router problem? If it was a router problem, why did it originally give me a 23915 error before I used the UnbanMii.exe. Getting the 23915 error suggests I WAS able to connect to Wiimmfi, but it viewed me as banned.

20. Used it.
21. Started MKW back up, created new License, selected Wiimmfi WFC
22. Clicked through those 49 popups again, "Connecting to Wiimmfi WFC"
23. Aaaaaaand Error Code 91010... again...

So when I use a fresh profile without this UnbanMii or Wiimmfi Unbanner, I get http://i.imgur.com/hmDBOX0.jpg, which is, according to the Wiimmfi error code page, "Banned: Abuse using of a console identifiers"

And when I use either of these unbanners, I get http://i.imgur.com/PFrgHre.jpg, which, if I'm reading that right, is trying to connect me to Nintendo Wi-Fi instead of Wiimmfi?

I am so confused.

So this doesn't create a full NAND dump anymore, eh?
I lost my Dolphin user folder NAND dump together with all my saves and Miis and everything two weeks ago (still crying) and since my Wii smoked off already years ago I guess there's no way now for me to get a NAND and use the Wii menu, huh?

I tried to connect to the MKWii Wiimmfi server and I still get the 23915 error.
I don't understand because I got the "well done" message at the end of the process. What should I do?

I used mkwii-wiimmfi patcher, and the unbanner several times, but I keep getting error 23913. I have tried several days in a row now.
