I successfully loaded HBC and cleanrip and they are ok. I own the xenoblade game so I ripped the disc to my portable harddrive seemingly successful. Transferred it to my computer. When I open dolphin it recognizes xeno, but when I play it shows some of the text on the top and goes to a white screen. I have re-ripped the disc and same result. Getting frustrated , help please.

What's the MD5 of the disc? (Right click the game on the gamelist, go into properties, go into info and compute md5)
OK. Having to rip it again as I was trying to solve problem an accidentally deleted it from computer and harddrive.

Went to right click- properties-info...don't see option to compute md5 though...
Also the game is in list but no banner or stars lit up.
anyone have an idea? want to get this fixed asap.

Don't know if it is relevant, but seems to be everytime ive tried to launch dolphin.
It looks like it's trying to boot the system menu? Maybe? Even if it was, if you're just loading the game from the gamelist, you don't need the system menu. Try running Dolphin as administrator or something. Maybe it can't access some files necessary for saving/booting the game.

Thanks for the try, didn't work...I know my computer is plenty good enough to run this but getting frustrated now. Oh well.
When I rip the game with cleanrip what should the settings be in cleanrip? Xenoblade is dual layered. Want to be sure the problem is not with the iso although I have done it twice. Also I do see the initial yellow text on top but when the screen goes white instead of seeing the wii remote opening page I just see white. Also when I load dolphin it has the iso in the gamelist but there are no stars lit up if that tells anything.
Do any other games work? I don't see why it wouldn't be booting if it's a good dump. I've never seen anyone have a problem like this with this game.

I will dump Twilight Princess and see what happens. What should my settings in clean rip be? ant to make sure im selecting right ones.
Make sure you combine files if it doesn't extract to one single file. Make sure the file size is correct. And make sure it verifies the MD5. The latest development builds can do this in Dolphin (when you didn't see it, you must have been using 4.0.2 or older. Try latest dev builds to verify that.)
