I just had a new laptop and Dolphin keeps crashing and lagging as hell on it, though it worked great on my old 2009 desktop computer. The new computer is quite powerful though :
Windows 8.1 64 bits
Intel core i5 4200u
GeForce 820M (+ intel graphics, hybrib thing, but I choose the geforce in opengl)

I downloaded last 4.0.2 version in case my old version was not compatible with new hardware and Win8.1. I did not change anything in the settings, and it crashed just like the old one.

Can you tell me what is the problem from this ?

You have an i5 4200u. The u denotes ultra low power. Dolphin is very demanding on the cpu and needs to draw a low of power. That is your problem.
