I don't really know how to explain it, but with a lot of my wii games (Super smash bros brawl being the main one), the sound keeps skipping or being choppy. Another issue is that sometimes the game seems to slow down even though the game says it's running at 60 fps. Everything is default except for the native resolution (2x) but changing it doesn't help.
Try using the latest development versions of the emulator. A lot of things have been addressed since then.

Oh well I know it can happen with Project M when using a virtual SD card. What kind of i5 do you have?
Both actually.

I5 3550
Try unchecking virtual SD card in the Wii settings.
Well that fixed the audio skipping, but now the audio is delayed by a second. Has development said if they're fixing the sd card issue?
