OK it seems to only crash when I enable "Force 16:9 Aspect Ratio". So basically I have to play the game in 4:3, unless you know of a way to make it widescreen without crashing.

As much as I'm sharing your cheerfullness, AFAIK the devs don't request any donations because a) it would be hard to distribute the $$ among them b) they're working on this project mostly for fun anyway, so there'd be no point in donations.

Oh and that's not all....guess what I found??? I just found a PAR code I've been looking for for AGES!!!!!!! It's a no music code!!! That means you can type the code into the Pro Action Replay box and then it will disable F-Zero GX's In game music.....something you CAN'T DO IN THE GAME ITSELF!!! This means that you can run Winamp in the background while it's playing your favorite tunes, and still have the sound effects from the game mixed in!!!!!!!!! This is fucking

OK so I posted this at the MFO forums and I'll post it here...
Guys....we really really need to start sharing our replay files! now that we have access to the game and can pley via an emulator, virtual memory card transfers containing replay files are now possible! The advantage of this??? A)The files are way way WAAAY smaller than even the smallest youtube video file. They're in tiny KB! B)We can watch them directly within the game on our PCs, as opposed to in video mpeg format, where they don't look nearly as clear and sharp(obviously).
So for those of you that *can* run the game on your PC, let's get some of your replay files uploaded. If not, how about uploading some of your replay files from your real GameCube memory card? I'm gonna try and upload one in this post....

F-Zero GX is such a wonderful game and never in a million years would I have dreamed of playing it in hi-res on a PC. It's guys like you that make the emulation community a fantastic place to be.
