Hi! I'm going to build a new gaming PC, and the processor I'm planning to buy is an i5 4670K, which I'm planning to OC to 4.0GHz. Will it be enough to play games like Skyward Sword and SMG2 with LLE?

I will use Kingston HyperX Genesis 1600MHz RAM total of 8GB (2x4GB) and a MSI GTX780 Twin Frozr 3GB.
It pretty much should be.
Get the 4790k
Choose the new devil canyon i7 4790k with Z97 mobo instead
It can hit 5.0-5.5GHz on air

My budget is quite limited already, so I'm not really able to do much better that this, also my cooling s kinda so-so. But if this will run Dolphin fine, I'm gonna stick to it.
i5 4690k then . Same price , better TIM (run cooler , OC higher) , higher base clock

Might take a look at that. However, if I stay with the 4670K, will I still be able to play demanding games like DKCR, SMG2, Red Steel 2, Skyward Sword and Conduit 2 at 1080p with full speed? The 4960K is hard to get here, so I'll stick with the 4760K UNLESS the games have incredible speed drops at 1080p or something like that.
In most case , i5 4670k will hit the wall at 4.2->4.3GHz due to horrible TIM .
i5 4690k a.k.a Devil Canyon will break that limit without delidding CPU or using an expensive cooler
I'm certainly sure i5 4670k @ 4.6GHz won't run Zelda TP and The Last Story full speed with LLE all the time . Without LLE ,it's a different story
i5 4670k @ 4.0GHz should run SMG2 full speed with LLE . Don't know about the rest though

Really? I can run the game at full speed on my shitpiece of a PC even now, it's one of the few Wii games I can currently run properly. I'm not sure how well it runs with LLE, though.

Also, Dolphin 4.0 added "LLE on separate thread", but I believe Dolphin uses only 2 threads at max. If I enable "LLE on separate thread", will it help me to run games with LLE smoother?

Depending on the game . It will cause issues (game crash , audio issue)
