I am on Device SDL/0/USB GamePad disabling or unplugging my webcam did nothing
any other ideas? It detects on my older version of dolphin
EDIT: So a little update. I got my controller to get detected on Pad 3 tab, but it will not get detected on the pad 1 tab. On Pad 3, I would be on DInput/0/USB GamePad but when I try to load my profile on tab 1 it automatically puts me on SDL/0/USB GamePad
Okay, I got the whole thing set up, but I'm still wondering why in the world 4.0-652 crashes? I can't do anything on it, every time I try to load a game, it just crashes or if I try to config my GCPad, it doesn't even pop up, just crashes. Any idea?
Because it's reading a webcam or some other USB device as a controller from SDL as something that has more buttons than can fit into some variable and it explodes. This was fixed in later builds.
Okay sweet, I got it to work by unplugging my webcam, but what later builds does this fix it? I would like to use my webcam when I stream
Latest builds disable SDL when webcams are plugged in, I believe? Or just disable SDL for controllers altogether.
Hello. Sorry for the bump of an old post, but I couldn't find the issue anywhere else. I'm currently having the same issue that Tak used to have, but the only USB devices I have plugged in are my keyboard and mouse. I've actually managed to open the GCpad settings in safe mode, but obviously can't play anything in safe mode. Is there any way to disable SDL manually? I want to be able to play netplay with my friends again.
