Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

I can't get the IR-Pointer to do anything in any game I tried. My Wiimote works perfectly using my Wii. All other Wiimote-functions (Dpad, buttons, Nunch.) are working as expected.
The IR-pointer IS working in Windows (WiiRemote, Glovepie ...)

So is there anything special I got to do to get the IR-pointer to work (in 3971), or is it not supposed to work at the moment ? Are there only certain games working with the IR-pointer ?

Did you try to unselect from the WII Remote Plugin Configuration the 'Use Real Wiimote'?

It was working for me....

The IR pointer works at the moment, it's most likely your build.

As I said, it's 3971/2. Everything works fine; just the IR-pointer isn't doing anything at all in Dolphin. Other apps are working fine, though ...

What's so special about that particular build.
I suggest an update, if you're willing to do so.

A newer Rev perhaps?

The Builds on the main page update approximately every month even though they are supposed to be Bi-Weekly. *Shh Don't tell anyone!*
While on the actual Forum Users Update their own builds through sweat and tears, this is done frequently so i advise you to stay on board.
It is an open source project after all, you can compile your own as well.
