If you look at those screens, however, Dolphin is running at 100% in both instances (the first where the FPS is 20 and the second where the FPS is 29). As long as the game speed is 100%, that means Dolphin is running as fast as a real GC would.

Wave Race is supposedly a 30 FPS game for NTSC and 25 FPS for PAL, but not every console game had a fixed FPS. The developers may have simply programmed the game to drop the frame rate at certain points. Keep in mind that Wave Race was among the earliest of GC games, so programmers probably did not yet know how to optimize their games for the platform. I would encourage you to view gamplay in Dolphin and on a real console (preferably in real life, not on YouTube if you can help it) to note any discrepancies.

But yes, your GPU is using an extremely low clock (less than 300MHz) which will cause issues even at low Internal Resolutions like 2x and even 1x.

You do know i am the one handling the gameini files, and i intented to update them by disabling any kind of texture filtering for SMS for people who don't even bother reading the wiki in case they have an issue (hint like you). Sure i am out of this thread, just wait for those additions and any kind of future help from someone else than me.

@Dogway - There's no reason to instigate anything on your part, so I advise you to simply stop talking about accusations of flaming or trolling so we can focus on the thread.

@Shonumi: I did a post report so I don't feed the troll and keep offtopic things outside of the thread. Please, tell Link_to_the_past to behave, he was advised and still kept throwing pest calling me idiot, etc. I will post my findings later, after I pump up my card settings.

edit: no change, I set the slider to the left to performance on nvidia control panel, but GPU stats don't differ.

edit2: I changed to max performance by application, added Dolphin, and now it works:



I disabled the Dual Core setting expecting to fix the SMS issue. It was ON by default IIRC. edit: no dice.
