Have you tried to disable sound, and things like disable dual core, switch between OpenGL/D3D9 plugins, EFB copy enable/disable etc.?
Also, if saves will work, maybe try to pass the place with the JP version.

Yes, I have tried all the options you listed.
disabling sound did not work for me, disabling dual core the game won't even run, I have already tried fiddling around with those two plugin but none of them worked, and I also have tried using the jp version but results are the same.Sad
Someone wrote he successfully finished the game on rev. 4708, perhaps try it?
Also, maybe the problem concerns mostly 64-bit versions, but not 32-bit...

I just passed that point and on Chapter 5 now.
No problems at all, didn't change any of my original settings, didn't get any error.
I'm surprised 'cause i was expecting the game to hang, but nothing happened, solid-rock as usual with my settings.
I'm using Orleans 4922 32bit build with Windows XP and DX9 plugin.

Finally got pass the error, all I did was not going to the room where the male ghost went in after you activate the power for elevator instead go back up to the elevator hall and trigger a small scene which the elevator door opens up and then went back down fight the ghost, and surprisingly the error did not occur.Smile

Tried with several revisions, they all managed to get pass the error.
Still working great here Big Grin

More pictures xD. It's hard to print screen while I'm playing xDD
Butz_san: just no major spoilers, please, since I guess many here are playing this game through for the first time now Wink
It's true, sorry Tongue

Edit: For everyone playing the game, there is another "hang" point in the game. It's in chapter 7 when Chousiro has to answer the phone in the lobby. I answer the phone but then the game just hang (no message at all). But this can be fixed by using Jit IL, the problem is that Using Jit IL makes the a little slower at least for me. I'm having perfect speed in JIT normal, but 90-85% using JIT IL
Anyone encountering lags in-between, events like door opening, some corridors? Or during fight sequences?
My speed fluctuates around 60-85% during the above mentioned events. It seems to occur more often after some time. I tried some of the solid rock configurations in this forum. But I still get back the same lags. Does this game runs better on opencl than gx9? I'm using the latest revision by orleans' r4922.

Me. But I have slow CPU - C2D 2.8.

Yes, at least for me (Rad 3870).
hm, no real lagging...only short one-time-stutters here and there when opening doors or any other situations when the camera switches.
Also I noticed that sometimes, very randomly, the game has a hard-to-describe slowness which shows when tilting the view left or right......naaaah, as I said, hard to describe Tongue ...but that goes away after some time.
Other than that, the only real glitch I am having is the photos not showing (I read they do with EFB to RAM, but when I have that enabled, taking a picture freezes the screen white O_O ) and telephone calls can't be heard (they would come from the Wiimote speaker, right?
