Crash mesage: Dolphin.exe Has Stopped Working
Dolphin version 4.0.2
CPU I7 2.4 ghz 8core
Ram 16gig
games: twilight princess, wind waker, and miaro kart double dash, i wish not to obtain more games before I can fix this
GPU Nvidia 670m 3GB GDDR5

I am thinking like a-lot of games it may be my processor has too many cores if that is the case please tell me how to change the core limits on Dolphin.
Make sure you aren´t using corrupt dumps. And update to W8.1 as it seems to solve some issues (crashes).

I think Dolphin only use 2 cores. Most people are mistaken about the number of cores of their processor (hyperthreading) unless you are using Haswell-E, Xeon, etc... Anyway did you try changing your graphics backend to use Direct3D? or OpenGL?

I am not mistaken about number of cores it has 8. And I know if my PC tries to force use of more cores the application might crash. Fallout3(steam) only uses 2 cores and I needed to set a cap in the .INI to keep it from crashing.
Also I have no idea how to run a backend.

Well in your profile, you have an Intel i7 2.4 ghz 8core and a Nvidia 670m 3GB. Sorry but I don't know any mobile Core i7 having an 8 core (I assumed you are using a laptop since "m" in your graphics card, 670m, stands for mobility/mobile). If you think your PC is forcing to use more than 2 cores with dolphin (no idea how that happen), try disabling dual core mode in the config option.
Yes, all the i7 have HyperThreading. Try disabling is (it´s almost useless on Dolphin´s case).

disabiling dual core mode drops the frame rate to where it's unplayable and different backends screw up textures maps and sounds.
Specify your i7 model, there are plenty out there.
