Hey,

I'm running Dolphin on a new PC I built. My processor is an Intel i5-4670k at 3.4 Ghz, and I don't have a graphics card so it is using the integrated HD 4600 graphics. For the most part, my games run really smoothly in the native resolution. Which was surprising to me -- I assumed it wouldn't run well at all on the integrated graphics processor.

ANYWAYS, I want to buy a graphics card that will work well for Dolphin. I don't want to spend over $200 (if that's even realistic) so I was looking for any suggestions or advice that you guys may have for me. Is my processor good enough to run Dolphin well? If your machine has the same processor, what kind of GPU are you using? What kinds of results do you get out of Dolphin with it?

Again, any advice would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time using a PC I built completely on my own as well as my first time using Dolphin.

(I accidentally posted this before in the support section. Sorry. Please reply to THIS thread instead.)
The HD 4600 is actually enough for 2-3x IR in most games, so Dolphin isn't likely to be the one thing driving you for an upgrade. You'll want something better for PC games, though.
And yes, your CPU is currently Dolphin´s favorite beast (it´s enough for it, that´s it). Tongue
This Maxwell Nvidia GPU looks interesting in terms of your price range

R7-265 is better then the 750ti and its in the same price range. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814202096

EDIT: GTX 660 is in the $200~ range http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814127699
660 is NOT better than 750, 750ti, or R7 265. It's just more expensive.

It is. Benchmarks prove it. http://www.anandtech.com/show/7764/the-n...w-maxwell/
