One more question: I have a device with Adreno 305 running stock ROM which is stuck at Jelly Bean MR2 (Android 4.3), without any custom ROMs available at the moment. Can I use the Nexus 4/7 drivers with it or they depend of KitKat components to work?
I think there is a part in the kernel called kgsl doing the link between the drivers and system... or something like that.. if your kgsl is too old and doesn't support new thing in the drivers.. it may result in a bootloop. That's what I thought when my device bootlooped the first time I tried this.

I don't know, I've never tried. I have used jellybean v45 drivers on kitkat before and it worked, but there were some graphical bugs.

You can try, but I'd imagine those drivers require kit Kat. Not to mention, they aren't intended for the Adreno 305, so there could be unforseen complications.

Adreno 320 uses the same firmware files as the 305, so there shouldn't be any problems. I use the drivers daily on Adreno 305.
I'll get a nandroid backup and try, then (if don't get a bootloop) I report if it works well...
BTW, my device is a Xperia M dual (veeery weak for Dolphin, I know) but I'll try anyway, maybe I get some small homebrew apps running
So, I did a Nandroid backup, got the Nexus 4/7 files from Qualcomm site, found the right folders in my phone, created a new ZIP package and flashed through CWM. Results? Unfortunately it didn't work, all I got was the Sony logo for some seconds then black screen, then Sony logo again and black screen, and it keep doing that until I restored the Nandroid backup I took earlier.
In other words, using the updated Adreno drivers provided by Qualcomm in Jelly Bean MR2 isn't possible, do that and you get a bootloop (not sure if it should be called boot loop since it reboots right after loading the RAMDisk, more like a "kernel" loop)...
