That was a lot of changes lol, not a developer so I can't make heads or tails.

Dang I gotta do something useful with my life and lrn2code so I can contribute to Dolphin or another project some day. Tongue

Even if you "lrn2code" you still won't understand most of the dolphin code. The only thing you might be able to is cleanup the wxWidgets stuff.

You realize galop1n never worked on emulation projects before? He is a game designer with in depth knowledge on graphic api's and systems. Guess the reason I originally wanted to learn how to code? Tongue
Is there any chance we might be able to download these builds again now that the code is available?
There seem to be Errors while compiling.

I'll see if I can fix them, assuming those were an accident (and not just because it's not finished)

EDIT: lel no, let galop1n finish this Big Grin
Is there any way someone can reverse engineer his build and apply his fixes to the latest dolphin? His build seems to have fixed the grey screen issue for D3D11, which is a pretty major issue, and none of the devs have managed to fix yet.
The build compiled fine for me, just set "treat wx warnings as errors" to no.
I restored most of the links in the original post. Unfortunately I messed up for one link, which I now can't fully restore anymore.

Technically these builds are still in violation because not each of them has the proper source associated with them, but it's good enough for me.
The problem is that so much of his fixes relied on his other stuff he changed, for example the zfreeze hack, there is so many merge conflicts I don't know what to do...
Here is a test of mine, mirrors working in Luigi's mansion but everything about the shadows is wrong...
try it out.

Wow... The performance difference is massive. I'm getting uninterrupted 60 frames per second in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I hope similar changes make it into the master branch soon. This is really impressive!
It's easy to get 60FPS in 50% of games if you break the remaining 50% and make them unplayable.

yeah, if you enable per pixel lighting in Wind waker, you have some very very bad issues... in the One build I uploaded that is..
