Skipping it makes the game faster by breaking part of the game. You should overclock your CPU another 20%; but to be honest I'm kinda surprised you're getting speeds this good. You may want to just cut your losses and turn off Skip EFB Access to CPU when necessary and use a cheat for full starbits. Collecting Starbits is just a grind anyway, it's not like you're hurting the game experience.

Yea, I just did another test of lowering the Native Resolution back down to x1 and it's 60/50 no problems whatsoever so it is a matter of hardware.
Being that I can play other games at pretty high resolutions with no issues and I can play it at x3 native by skipping EFB to CPU Access just fine I think its safe to say my CPU clock speed is the culprit.

The conclusion is that a Q6700 @ 3.33Ghz can't process/transport both EFB Copies and 3x the amount of data from the live 3D rendering to my video card quickly enough to keep the frames where they are requested to be.
(sorry if that came out atrocious I'm not sure how to put that into correct terms)

Unfortunately for me, I am using a locked bios, my CPU is Pinmodded (oldschoool), so I get what I pay for as the saying goes.

To your solution, that sounds like a reasonable one!
Do I have to enable cheats to use them? where would I get said cheats?
Honestly, the task of collecting an obsessive amount of these stupid little star bits seems daunting anyway... its Mario not sonic the hedgehog I don't need tokens.
Do the same thing you did when disabling VBeam Speed Hack, but choosing the AR codes or Gecko codes tab instead.
Thanks, that was easy enough.

One last thing, so I figure the BEST way to play this game would be to have a hotkey that allowed me to turn EFB Access to CPU on/off just like you can toggle things like Fog and Where the EFB is coppied too. That way when I am playing I can keep it on then when I need to click things or pick up some stars I can quick toggle it on to do so instead of getting out of fullscreen, openning the menu etc.

Is there a hotkey function for that? Can I make it myself? Has someone suggested this before?
People have suggested it, but no one has implemented it. It'd be a bit unwieldy (at least in the current UI) to have a custom hotkey to flick every single setting. Maybe a bored dev will make a quick hack for you, but otherwise, I don't see the feature being implemented in the near future. Sorry I don't have a better answer.

Yea I can see why they may want to hold of on something like that, nor do I expect someone to create that for one person.
Just wondered if it already existed and I was just blind or incompetent, thanks for answering!
