Apparently Microsoft is going to bring back the start menu for Windows 8.1 this August.

If I still have dreamspark in August, it might be time for an upgrade.

You can actually make the Start icon to "make the list appear", but it´s sort of overwhelming by the way it looks (Right click on taskbar/Navigation). Tongue
