Hello! Im starting with Dolphin, and i have some problems with The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The game runs slow and the sound is laggy, how can i fix this? I am using Dolphin 4.0.2.
My PC:
Windows x64
AMD FX4100 QuadCore 3.60 GHz
Nvidia GeForceGTX 650 1GB
RAM 4Gb
Thanks a lot.

Try using the latest instead, they are faster and have better audio
Your CPU is slow for most games anyway . Dolphin prefers high single threaded performance CPU
Your CPU is slower than mine, and mine's an Athlon II!
Try latest builds, you'll also have to go to the gamesettings inis and get rid of the two bottommost sections. Then, you might get some decent speed. But, you will not be able to use the pictobox (game hangs on use when fast depth calculation is enabled), and the lava area will be unbearable to try and beat (screen tearing without EFB to RAM).
The screen tearing doesn't happen on EFB2Texture! I've tested and verified it several times. Can someone please tell me where people are getting this from?
That it was what it said in the article about it. Might've been fixed.
No, I'm one of the people who wrote the article, so try again
Really, I don't care; but, when misleading information spreads too much, it results in people getting confused, and no one wants that. I'd rather nip it in the bud before it gets too bad.
Then... I have to download a newer Dolphin's version? Or can I change some video and audio settings?
I play Mario Kart, Monster Hunter Tri and Animal Crossing City Folk and I have 0 problems.
What's the problem with Wind Waker?
Another question, if I try to play Twilight Princess it will be playable?
Thanks a lot ^.^

If you download games, you get banned. Consider yourself on thin ice; downloading games and talking about downloading games is against the rules, and we're zero tolerance here.
On these forums, you
must use homebrew or applications like RawDump/FriiDump to legally dump your own discs. You've been warned. Take the time to do things the right way.
