Hey.. so I'm trying to pair up my wii remote to the bluetooth adapter that I got, but it won't let me. I can see it in the add bluetooth device -> all option, and I can select it, but it requires a code. I can't just click next to continue without entering one, it won't let me. What do I do?
What happens if you pick the one that says you can't find a code?
It sends me to a help page telling me that the code is usually found on the instructions for my device or is a default code like 0000 or 1234.
Aren't you supposed to *not* connect it to Windows's Bluetooth and instead just open Dolphin and click Refresh + the red Sync button?
Probably, as long as you use the microsoft stack

I am having the same problem as the OP. When I see my Wiimote in "Add Devices" I click next. Instead of giving me the 3 options, one of them being to connect without a password, it sends me strait to the page to insert a password, with no way to enter no password. I have tried what you just stated, without connecting the Wiimote to Window's Bluetooth. Any help would be appreciated.
Don't add it with windows. Just press refresh and press 1+2 on your wiimote, and boom, it works.

There are exceptions to that of course, but none of those exceptions involve using "Add Devices". Under no scenario are you supposed to use that with a wiimote.

I have tried this many, many times, including using the red SYNC button inside the cover. I am using the "Panda Bluetooth 4.0 USB Nano Adapter - Class 2 Smart Ready w/ Low Energy Technology" adapter with the CSR Harmony Wireless Software Stack Version 2.1.63.0. If there is another Stack other than the one that came with the adapter that I should be using, then I'm all ears.

These are legitimate Wiimotes (originals) that came with my Wii when I received it for Christmas in ?-2008-?
Does that adapter support EDR?

Edit: Tip - don't use Motion in joy. Use the SCP Drivers.

It supports both LE and EDR
